I Have to Sell My Vehicle

I should now get rid of my 2003 Volvo S70 T5M (priced at just about $6K) given that our family now needs a bigger car (3 grown ups, 1 child and another expected soon).

I must declare that the vehicle has treated me noticeably all right and I have, in no way, felt the need of power; and the single basis that I want to sell it is 'coz I'm at the presenthoping for a vehicle that is bigger.

Could you advocate any options around this value that are:
a) more roomy
b) related low emission
c) advantageous on small drives (because that's what we predominantly do)
d) satisfactory on mileage

365- Day 104... Bokeh (maybe?), beers, and... A NEW CAR by asicas

What's important is that the vehicle must be a product of a positively reliable brand, and also the substitute parts should be effortless to come by and not exceedingly expensive, etc.

Principally, if you are happy with the vehicle I mentioned but you presently need to swap it with something that gives you more room, in that case which one would you pick? I am keen on the look of the Nissan Xterra. But I believe it could be challenging to stumble on one in that budget. 4×4's could be convenient for us since we live in the Chisos Mountains and a few off road trails exist, however it's not essential for it to be a 4×4.

While I hold on for the sale I believe I can just bear on using a hire auto

All your recommendations would be extremely valued.

A New SUV for my Dad

My old man just turned in his Toyota 4Runner and is looking to charter something else. He previously expressed that this drive was a bit too rough on his back and also that the engine capacity was more than he wanted… Now he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it has to be Offroader given that he does surfing, etc… + this is the solitary roomy car in the family, I drove his car some times to transport possessions around as I own a Honda Accord and my partner a Beetle.

Leyland International Pick Up Truck by imagetaker!

Anyway, the price range; it's without doubt less than US $32k after taxes plus fees.

He liked the GMC Acadia, but it's way too inefficient when it comes to power, the Turbo edition has admirable power and drives well, but for that much he opines he can get something else.

He got a good bargain at Volkswagen for a Jetta SportWagen 2.5L 5 cylinders… but he has a reliability concern as our Audi Q7 and VW Beetle were regulalrly facing problems. I told him that through a 24-month lease he shouldn't face any difficulties (in contrast to owning the Audi like he did for around 6 years).

We also looked at the latest Kia Sorento, a very good vehicle, you could smell excellence all over when you look inside… My father even suggested that he would have purchased the SUV before now if not for the overtly irritating salesman… I feel after taxes it gets to $32k or so, although he seems to be partial to the car a lot.

He drove the Toyota FJ Cruiser (4 cylinders) and said that it handled like crap… I could not examine that one, however he seems to be sure that his next car will not be a Toyota.

Any propositions? k to k or so? The Volkswagen Tiguan seems like a bad choice and so I told him not to bother inspecting that, also the Murano is too costly.
